Calvin Mckenzie, the person behind this website, wanted a logo and animated intro with his little scholar character plugging in the sign for the website. The lightning effect was done in Houdini using the 'Find Shortest Path' node, applied to areas of the wires. I then added noise to create the spikyness of the electricity and turned these lines into tubes from which I emit a blue glow.

For the logo, Calvin wanted a lineart representation of the 3D intro.
