Ouroboros
Ouroboros is my Final Major Project (2021), directed by Christos Pierides. My main roles in this project were concept artist, effects artist, animator and texture artist , I also did some modelling and rigging as well.

Above is my breakdown reel showing my contributions to the project.
I created a morphing effect for the trees using 'VDBmorph', the warping was created by applying noise to different areas of the geometry based on a scattering of points on the surface and the wriggling snakes which we used as backgorund elements were created using vellum to which I applied some light wind.
CONCEPT WORK
Storyboard
I Also created the concept work and storyboard for the short based off the director's original rough sketches. I tried to convey what our scene and what the monster would look like with the crosshatching shader that the director was working on.
I also created a ground texture which I graded in a very weird looking way so that when it was desaturated the shades of grey would look good.
SNAKES:
Our short is quite snake heavy so it was my job to model, rig , animate and texture the snake for which I used as a reference the Red-Bellied Black snake to inject some eery colour into our scene. The aniamtion can be seen in my breakdown reel and the textures can be seen bellow.
