CAN SEQUENCE

First year project (2018) created in Maya and comped using Nuke. This project was my introduction into the VFX. The goal was to create a can animation. We were given the backplate with a locked off camera and we had to model, texture, animate, light and comp the can in, to make it seem as photoreal as possible. The animation was done using a simulation and, as I wanted my can to travel from the top step all the way to the ridges at the bottom, it took a good amount of iterating to achieve.
